You can eat things like steaks, chicken, hamburger, all sorts of meats, cheeses, vegetables, eggs. No sugar or bread or pasta.It is the strictest part of the diet. But in the first 2 weeks you can lose 8 -13lbs. I lost 12 in my first two weeks. Then after 2 weeks, you slowly start adding the good carbs. Fruits and things that are very low in sugar.

Heres a website you can use - its based on the SBD and is amazing! I got it off another post on the SBD from here:

Also, I love using lots of lentils and beans when Im on the SBD! I usually make a big bowl of chana chaat combining 1/2 of the largest cans of garbanzo beans with salt, red chilli flakes, cumin/coriander powder, chaat masala, onions, green chillies and imli ki chutney and then adding a little bit of tarka with oil and cumin seeds. Its an amazing amazing filler and I usually just make a batch once every 2-3 days and it works out great.
On top of that for snacking I love eating celery with peanut butter.. its really healthy and keeps you filled
try making daals and have it like soup. for breakfast i usually had hardboiled eggs with chai - and I honestly couldnt quit the chai my only “cheat”. I reduced the amount I had but I had atleast 2 cups everyday.
My friend who loves SBD usually just makes tonz of kababs, different varieties and frys them in abt 2tsp of oil, or she just makes a big salad and takes out the chicken from the salan made that day and eats the salad with that.
Its not a hard diet but you have to be really creative once your on it!
You can do it!! and maybe looking at you I might start back on it too..
it does give you a good result at the end! I started showing signs of losing belly fat on day 5 when I fit into my wedding clothes without any tummy tuckers..
