Well, in the case of Kashmir, its not just a border issue, if it was, India could sort it out in the same manner as it it did recently with Bangladesh, or implied as it has with China. In our case its more of an ideological issue and therefore the reluctance on either side to compromise…We have just as many or more Muslims living in India, and therefore Kashmir belongs to us (as a Muslim dominated area) just as much as you’d like to believe it belongs to you, and if we go by your logic, then whats stopping you to lay claim the other numerous Muslim majority areas in current day India.
