South Asian Union is impossible, perhaps an ‘EU type / Andean Community’ amalgamation of India, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka & Nepal in the next 30 years, and perhaps the addition of Bangladesh & Afghanistan in the distant future may be realized, but all of South Asia together will not happen in a million years.

I don’t see Nepal joining this union in the distant future as well as I have seen many Nepalese who don’t have anything positive to say about the Indians.
