south asian politicians

so how come there aren’t more desi politicians? we’re so used to this “desi politics” bull$hit in our families and social circles, why not put it to good use? but then again I think those same family politics prevent someoen from fully succeeding.

Just some thoughts I was having yesterday as I was sitting on the train. :whistling

Re: south asian politicians

Don't wanna barge in between you two, but is the thread about New York's public transport system or desi politicians?

Re: south asian politicians

started out bout desi politicians but led to ny public transportation..

u can reply to whichever u like :)

Re: south asian politicians

There is a world of difference between back-biting family members to get inheritance or to start family feuds, as opposed to be well-liked in the community to be elected by for a public office.

Re: south asian politicians

Doesn’t politics involve a lot of back-biting to get ppl to vote for you and get a good reputaiton among ur future (hopefuly) constituents or to badnaam (damn my english si getting worse) ur rivals? I think most of us who deal with these family politics BS would do pretty well in life, if not for thos esame politics that hold em back :halo:

oh my other question was, does every family have politics or is it just a few? i’m guessing this family politics stuff is the norm and not the exception…prove me wrong..

Re: south asian politicians

All families have politics. You won't hate the game if you play it right. :)

Re: south asian politicians

hahahaha ^ You got that right. I sure love it.

Re: south asian politicians

I’ll play it for my parents sake

but once i have my own family, i want to protect them from this politics crap. is that possible?
