Look at the chances of Pakistan. SA has three days to make the total of like 125 runs within 8 wickets on hand. Can they do that? Sure. "PAKISTAN WILL WIN" dream on buddy.

I am afraid this is very similar to the first test match. Amla and Kallis pulled it off with ease, and SA won by 7 wickets. This time though, we don't even have that many runs. 125 runs with 8 wickets means SA has it nailed, even if you factor in danish, asif, and the pitch. I would have given pak a better chance had this been the 5th day wicket on this pitch. But rightnow, runs are just too few for a miracle to happen. A few boundaries here and there, along the lines of what Smith is doing, and its game, set, match for SA.

So to answer ehsan bhai's question, I say that unfortunately, SA will win.

Smith and Kallis's wickets are the key. Smith, being a leftie, isn't bothered by Asif, but his defenses might be breached by Mohammad Hafeez or Shahid Nazir. Kallis isn't bothered by ANYONE so Pakistan will have to put a plan into effect to pry his wicket.... maybe a runout? The rest of their lineup could crumble if enough pressure is applied to it.

There is one man that I truly fear in that line-up, and it’s Boucher. If we can get him out early (if he comes out, that is), the rest will crumble. Boucher is the only genuine fighter in their side.

While Boucher can rip the attack apart like he did in the first innings, he gives the impression that he could get out any time to a false stroke, airy drive, top edge, etc. Smith, and especially Kallis are solid in defense and could frustrate our bowlers.

While I would love to believe Pak will win, I have a feeling it will be a tense game with wickets falling yet SA will pull through in the end. Kinda like how Pak won it last time.

Its a lousy total to defend
Maybe 40 or 50 runs more would have made a whole lot of difference
and the bowlers could have a fair chance to bowl the saffies out.

Just another encounter to forget about, along with the numerous others where Pakistani batting has flopped, just when they were supposed to dig in
