Once again our tailenders have given us some hope. All is not lost and wicket is definatey gonna help Kaneria tomorrow. Lets hope we win it. InshaAllah.

pakistan still has a chance although sa is favorite.i dont understand why kaneria came on to bowl with 30 runs on the board in the last innings on a turning wicket..you would see murali or warne open the attack in similar situations.again mr inzi is not the most creative individual

lets just admit that there are hardly unless any chances for pak to win this one ... unless we can get rid of smith, kallis and boucher straight away . which will be a BIG BIG task ... if smith is stays for 5 overs, the match should be considered over already

1 w-keeper: akmal ← more o’ less half a keeper (the amount of catches and stump chances he got).
3.5 batsmen: Yousef, Younis Inzi = 3 and .5= Yasir, Hafeez, Farhat 
I had expected a decent performance from Nazir, Sami and Rana, they were almost next to nothing (except tail wagging with the willow).

Pakistan have basically lost the series 1-2. The bowlers gave us a real chance of getting back into the game by restricting South Africa's first innings lead to a mere 27 but the batsmen failed to put a decent score on the board yet again. The second innings effort with the bat was equally deplorable to say the least considering Sami and Nazir scored 31 and 27 respectively. I know this pitch is a hard one to bat on (32 wickets in two days gives us some idea), but no side should really think about drawing a game let alone winning it after getting bowled out for 157. A score of 225-250 might have tested SA 161 but I am afraid isn't going to be enough. Credit though must be given to our bowlers for fighting valiantly in this match considering the injury problems.

Have heart, you of little faith. The Proteas still need to make about 120 runs with 8 wickets in hand. There is everything still to play for. This match is presently very evenly poised.

Our batting is one of the weakest in the world game, bar our MO. The openers are crap, Hameed at 3 is a joke. (He's a joke anywhere), Iqbal is not first class standard in a decent set up (thats not Pakistan), Akmal is hit/miss type guy with no footwork and the tail fold as is there want.
We're destined to be 40/3 most of the time, recover somewhat and then fold. Had we mustered 250, we would be in the drivers seat...we havent scored 200 in HALF our innings in this series.

Asif needs 3 more wickets for 50 wickets in 9 Tests, Kaneria needs 2 more wickets for his 200 wickets in 45 Tests. Let's hope both of them achieve their landmarks in this Test.
