Re: South Africa vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 11th-15th January @ Centurion
hahahahaha
As Faisal walk towards the pavilion, he reaches the stairs and starts to climb, as he passes by couple of fans standing on the side. They stick out their hand to shake with Faisal, he doesn't even bother to look at them as he pass by them. Than one of the fan says something which make Faisal look at them. Something like pan****.....
Re: South Africa vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 11th-15th January @ Centurion
Kallis to Faisal Iqbal, OUT, Would you believe it? The fatal Pakistani attraction with the pull shot continues. Kallis banged it short, at the body of Faisal who goes for an impulsive pull, doesn't make proper contact and it bounds off the gloves, in the air, for Boucher to hold a dolly.
Future super star of Pakistan cricket .............
Re: South Africa vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 11th-15th January @ Centurion
Really pathetic... ek nahi, do nahi.... teen teen ch kaheen ke, chalo atleast Younis and Yasir managed to score 60+ before getting done as hooker (or a failed hooker :D).
Re: South Africa vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 11th-15th January @ Centurion
Pakistan 242/5 (84.0 ov) end of day (bad light).
Situation could've been much better had our batsmen showed a little more temprament. Anyway, don't know how good this wicket is (swing/bounce) but 242/5 looks okay for now, if they can manage it to pull 350+ then that should be good.
Re: South Africa vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 11th-15th January @ Centurion
At 183-2 , 400 looked very gettable but sadly three injudicious pull shot triggered dismissals have allowed SA to finish day 1 on even terms. Pakistan could still reach 400 if Inzi scores a hundred or Akmal gets going.
I have noticed one thing.......Pakistan tend to lose wickets in a heap after the tea interval. This was also the pattern during their last tour of Australia in 2004.
Re: South Africa vs Pakistan, 1st Test, 11th-15th January @ Centurion
I can understand if Faisal came in at a crucial position when Pakistan were like 50/4 or something and then he has to just play tuk tuk… But he came in at 193/4 and he played like he had to stop everything. He played 26 balls for 1 run. What a pathetic patheic player.
Interesting to compare Faisal Iqbal with Yasir Hameed as both of them are playing in their 18th Test Match. Just look at the average, even though Yasir is not that great of a player but just see the class between these two despite that fact. And Yasir has never been out on Duck. ** Faisal has 2 not outs as well yet his average is only 26**
