agreed. but Pakistan are playing a depleted side (no Akhtar and Yousuf)
plus the following (I am not taking it word for word though) does cause me some concern

steady and solid start by the openers. Especially Hafeez...looking solid. Hopefully they will continue in this fashion and not lose wickets to lose shots, like Farhat almost did.

waisay aapus ki baat hai, the start is really good. If somene said that we will be 82-2 just after lunch in first morning of the series i south Africa, I would have taken it with both hands.
