Just realized that Misbah had won the toss and put SA to bat when Misbah was playing two pacers in the bowling line up. He is beyond in-competent to be a called a cricketer. Luckily for him he is Pakistani where fans and administration is not capable of understanding the simple things about the requirements of the game.

Here was his 2nd test match as captain when he won the toss and putt SA to bat on dust bowl of UAE " "Pitch looks like it has a bit of moisture, we are going in with three seamers. Here is what I said to that as soon I noticed that he put SA to bat.

Then after few more tests as captain when on media and forums the news was that since Misbah has became captain he has scored 4-5 test 50’s and thats when I realized that when he wins the toss he would do anything to make sure he doesnt get to bat on first day wicket of a test match no matter how flat the wicket is..no matter how weak is the opponent’s bowling attack for those conditions…Misbah will do EVERYTHING in his power secure his 50.

One example of Captain brave against mighty BD…when he BD to bat and they scored 338 in first inning

 Kleinveldt to Saeed Ajmal, OUT, Kleinveldt is on a hat-trick, and I am surprised why they aren't  reviewing this one. They can't take that one home, may as well use it  up. This is not plumb. Length ball, seaming in, seemingly past the  inside edge, but has this hit him outside the line of off? First of all,  there was a huge inside edge on this one. I really wonder why they  didn't review this

What a disappointing performance.

Huge blunder to play Younis Misbah and Asad in a LOI team.. that too in this order. One of them HAS to make way for Umar Akmal.

And Afridi just hit a gigantic six. Good to see him in some sort of batting form.

A crushing defeat

Batting problems apart, team selection is not right

Kamran Akmal is a total waste of space

UA needs to come back & keep wickets

Ideally Shehzad should be in the team in place of one of the three Younis, Asad or Malik

it is all over...pathetic performance on all front by pakoistan

wicket was really really batting friendly..i have no freakin idea why misbah put them to bat fully knowing we are not good chasers....mind boggling....was this decided in the team meeting? if so, coach is an idiot too..

batting order was stupid...yunis, misbah and asad back to back?..are u freakin kididn me....these are very very ordinary decisions...

as brainless as UA is, he needs to be in the team

kman akmal is pathetic pathetic with bat for some time now..kick him out and this time for good

why didnt we review Saeed ajmal out....we cant take extra review home..so why not use it....yeah it is not a big deal at all but that shows how disinterested this team is.....something is missing

and gul..i dont know man..he is a "jonk" who is never going to leave us...one good odd performance here and there and then disappointment..PLAY WAHAB RIAZ FOR GOD SAKE....he can be useful on these pitches..

Batting second only works if you are able to restrict the opposition to 250 or less. Misbah and the management got it badly wrong

300+ was always an unachievable target, considering our tuk tuk & inconsistent batting

Umar as as brainless while batting as you are when worrying about social state of Pak society and expressing your opinion on it in PA instead of NOT DOING anything.

I hope you understand what I am trying to say here...because I think you are the only person on KK who can understand this analogy.

look yaar, no ine has ever questioned his talent....we all want him to succeed....but he has a hot head...anyway to your point, he has never been given a proper batting spot....so lets do it....time has come up to give him no 4....he has to show his potential as well by playing long match winning innings...

u know we have been seeing crikeet for 25 years now....so we can sort of see when the team is not playing as one unit....i felt that today team was very disinterested...all the tactical mistakes that we made are sad and mind boggling....it shows team think tank is pathetic...and not doing its job

and players in field were very uncommitted.

Now let me take you back 3 years... first tour after Eng 2010 in Nov 2010 - Give umar these opportunity at right number and as I have said "Pak has not produced batter batting talent than UA, he is sooo good that he seems Indian/Aussie level batsman who can play against pace and spin on any batting surface"...this guy would have been one heck of performer by now in 2013...but what Misbah did was to do the opposite and made sure it never happens.

Gul & Junaid started well conceding 19 runs off their first 6 overs (combined). Then Hafeez dropped a difficult chance off Amla at point and the wheels fell off

I agree to the part that UA has been a waste of a talent, but don’t know where Misbah has played the role in it. All I see is UA being too innovative at the end and loosing his wicket on a very ridiculous and unnecessary shots.
