Every day I do 25 minutes on a treadmill, then I lie down, drink a glass of vodka and smoke a cigarette.

When I am standing in line and a new register opens. ("I can help you here....")

It makes me happy.

Makes me happy when I sit and think that I did do some good deeds in life. Shukar to Allah that He thought I was capable of doing those.

I feel good when I think that i have not done any bad with any fellow human being.

Splurging money is just a way to feel good for a short period of time. So I do not consider it as a source of happiness.

What makes me happy are things like, once i was really down and didnt know what to do with my life. How to change it from the usual routine etc. when I got a text msg from my father. and in that he gave me duaas like "God bless you baita. may Allah give you everything that you wish for in your life." I didnt feel sad for so many days. Just the realisation that my parents were happy from me made me very satisifed and I thought i was very lucky.

Other than above a good action or cartoon movie in cinema is something i enjoy always.

I'm kind of over the material happiness, been there done that. Now, the things that bring me joy are:

  • Spending time with my wife and daughter
  • Going out into the natural world with my daughter, seeing everything through her eyes filled with wonder is just the BEST
  • Sitting on my boat in the middle of the lake, away from everyone and hearing just the waves lapping up against the hull
  • The smell of a brisk fall day
  • Driving up to the middle of nowhere, typically some farms in the area, and looking up at the stars without any light pollution and being able to see the great rift in the milky way

Sigh, I'm so gay.

my daughter offcourse ..........nothing in this world gives me more happiness and comfort than a warm tight hug from my daughter after I return home from hectic day at work. Her smile , her talk everything about her is so amazing and give me 'real' khushi.....Thanks to Allah for giving me a daughter.

Other than that cooking a nice meal for my parents everyday and seeing them happy & content with me give me so much happiness.
