yes. naam baRe darshan chhoTe...i found the quality of the food having gone down as compared to say 15 years ago when i used to enjoy food there. :)

yes, same here. har baar jaataa huN aur har baar yehii kahtaa huN k ab nahiiN jaauuNgaa magar agli baar phir vo jagah mujhe khaiNch le jaatii hai! 
kashish hii aisii hai k bas khiNcha chalaa jaataa huN…vaise i took the metro to chandni chowk one way. getting there wasn’t too bad.

The purpose of marriage is not really entertainment.
Islam encourages a simple marriage feast. So, there is nikah ceremony, where the martiage contract is signed and then there is a marriage feast.
PS: I'm talking about muslim marriages.

Metro at Kashmiri Gate and Rajiv Chowk is hell, otherwise Yellow line is best line of all

mujhe color coded lines kaa aaj tak pataa nahiiN chalaa...bas logoN se pooch poochh kar apnii manzil tak pahoNch jaataa huuN..
btw, why the metro is so crowded now? i remember using it a few years ago and it was not crowded at all, even at peak hours.

Lines are coded everywhere, on yellow line platforms you will find yellow line on platform floors and train will have yellow line marked all over through it
Initially people lived near 10Kms of office, now everybody travels from their home to office and metro has changed the travelling habit of Delhi, it has brought the equality that Indian consitution couldn't bring with reservation for women :D

oh, i see! thanks for the insight. that seems to be the right analysis. i think the Delhi metro has brought mobility to it's patrons which is well patronized. i believe Delhi metro is clearly world class...Toronto Transit trains have exactly the same coaches as Delhi metro has except that our run on the third rail which provides power to the train unlike Delhi metro which has overhead electric wires [25000 volts].
both transit systems use the coaches manufactured by Bombardier Canada. Delhi metro coaches are now made in India and also exported to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia etc.

and DMRC has more traffic per day than any other metro plus DMRC is in profit, its fares haven't increased at all :)

yes...i recently used the Airport Express...i was surprised that they have such a low fare...it was Rs. 190 round trip $1.50 each way]...lowest in the world for the world class service.
Delhi walas must be proud of their metro system.

Rather we pride it by travelling in it :) I think in normal lines, Highest fare is Rs 30
