Hello pretty ladies,
Help please!
Im going to Pakistan for my wedding!!! I’m leaving on June 25 and will Inshallah get married within the second week of July. Believe it or not, absolutely nothing has been arranged. I have NO idea where to start, hence this cry for help:p (Before I continue, yes, I know the time limit sounds crazy, but due to some unforeseen and unfortunate events it has come to this) We are planning to have a small gathering, family only, but I still need to look my best!
Also I have gores at work etc waiting for pictures and film upon my return. (Izzat ka sawal hai:p) I won’t be getting much help once I’m in Pak, so I kinda need step by step guidance:p
We live in Jelum and therefore I’ll be doing most of my shopping in Gujrat and Islamabad. Any suggestions as to where I should begin? Basically, dress and make up is my number one priority. (Doesn’t have to be designer shops or anything extraordinary) In addition, we need a photographer and “wedding décor people”
As you probably know by now, I’m in deep ****!

I have no clue about islamabad/gujrat area however, having helped my friends organise their weddings in short periods of times what I would say is.
Get the dress out the way first. as soon as possible after you arrive, take a full day out to shop. Make an aim of getting whatever you want in that day. Im sure people on here can tell you good streets to look at in islamabad. Hire a driver if you have to to get you from a to b without relying on uncle/cousin or whatever. Take mum + family member who is good with directions and haggling with you.
Do a search on GS for make up artists in your area and get one booked ASAP. Im not sure if you will get something easily as its peak wedding season and people get booked up months in advance. So phone around and maybe see who is available and then decide.

mmmh…for the dress i’ll suggest you to go to Lahore, because there are so many shops with different variety and usually in lahore some shops have the ready made bridal outfits and even price wise Lahore is cheap than Islamabad.
For the movie and photos i’ll suggest you to call someone from Islamabad, because the quality is way better than the other cities…I think the famous ones will be already booked so you should call someone not so famous…try to check someone in this thread
