Do forgive, don't forget - don't lose the lesson you have learned.
It is easier to say "I forgive you", but harder to actually forgive the person. When someone asks for forgiveness, many of us feel morally obligated to 'forgive' that person. Whether or not you actually forgive them, that depends on how emotionally strong you are.
