Is it possible to find any earthworms in Doha’s soil?

I have this science experiment kit for kids…it comes with plastic box and different colours of soil, only thing that I need to add is “worms”…I would like the kiddies to show how worms help fertilize the soil etc.

So please let me know if it’s worth taking this pretty heavy kit along with me?

Yes they have earthworms. Doha is on this Earth.

They probably have Earthworms but they might look very different to those in Europe. Would be more like Sandworms. :slight_smile:

Injustice understood the thread. Doha is the place you are relocating to. Will have our staff check this. Should have response before business starts in UK.

When I goofled earthworm in Doha, the honorable lady’s post was the first hit. This indicated things were not too bright. To make things worse the next link was about earthworm, use of hair spray by young boy to stiffen said earthworm, followed by grandpa borrowing said spray resulting in happy grandma.

But our staff persisted. Looks like the lady may run into some earthworms in Oman. How close is Oman to Doha? That was not part of the contract.

Well, it’s not walking distance. :hehe:

The flight from Doha to Muscat takes approx. 1 hour.
