Fix me..

no sneezing, no coughing, no mucus, no cold chills, no loss of voice - just a really bad soar throat and it hurts to swallow.

Remedies please.

dont swallow :p

eat yakhni, soup, custard, etc.

losanges can give some temporary relief!!

eat honey n better add some grinded black pepper in honey and den eat..
gargle with warm salted water....
soothers ll help too....

my only life saver from it is ginger tea
half inch piece of ginger in one and half water boil until one cup remain then add one teaspoon honey and drink warm every day it work for me very fast.

I had the same problem for more then a month. I was sneezing slightly though. The doctor prescribed me some medicines for allergy and i am fine now.

You might as well want to try honey-ginger tea or over the counter medicines for sore throat before seeing a doctor.
