Sore Throat Cures

Hello Guppies…

I have gotten sick over the weekend. I had an itchy throat but yesterday I ate some Ice Cream and now its gotten really bad.

Do you guys have any good cures that you can recommend to me so I can get rid of this sore throat?

tell me about it, I have a sore throat and its been over two weeks now. I am feeling a little better today but I have a class tomorrow and I know it will be back to square one and with roza, Allah khair karay.
sometimes when I would speak, all i could hear were strange cacophony of sounds, sometimes the voice would be reduced to merely a squeak and at times so hoarse that I felt as if a man was sitting in my throat…

boil salt water, add a tsp of salt for 1 cup of water, allow it to cool a little, then gargle. use the whole glass. makes a huge difference, especially if you catch it early.

ginger root (grated) and honey is supposed to be very good. if you can't eat raw ginger then steep ginger slices in your tea and drink it up.

also apple cider vinegar - 2 -3 spoons in a glass of water. add honey if you want. gargle several times a day. the acidity of the vinegar kills bacteria immed. just make sure u rinse your mouth water after you're done gargling.

i don't know why all gargle remedies have to taste so nasty, but they seem to work!

I got sick badly last winter..even i started losin conscious so my sister brought me Neo citrin…it’s has different flavours and different types…some of them are only cough n flu…some are cought, flu, n sore throat…i took da second one n da next i felt reali well n after 2 dayz i was all ready to go to skoool!
It’s a powder dat u ll have to mix n warm water n drink…it’s very very very bitter..but take it once n u’ll b Ok!

Zinc lozenges, don't take them over one day. Also, several cups of warm tea. Orange juice takes the pain away. And if it's real bad, take a tylenol.

It will take its time...and if you dont stay away from things that aggravate it ie cold drinks and food right out of the fridge...spices and candy..its going to take even LONGER....trust me on this one!!
