As most of you know Sorah-e-Yaseen is called Heart of Quran, That means this Sorah is of great importance. The whole Quran is of Great Importance but there Sorah is Heart of Quran-ePak
ALLAH:subhanahu: states in ayyas 13, 14 and 15

  1. وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلاً أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ And put forward to them a similitude; the (story of the) dwellers of the town, [It is said that the town was Antioch (Antakiya)], when there came Messengers to them.14. إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ When We sent to them two Messengers, they belied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: "Verily! We have been sent to you as Messengers."15. قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمَنُ مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ تَكْذِبُونَ They (people of the town) said: “You are only human beings like ourselves, and the Most Gracious (Allâh) has revealed nothing, you are only telling lies.”

  2. اور ان سے گاؤں والوں کا قصہ بیان کرو جب ان کے پاس پیغمبر آئے14. (یعنی) جب ہم نے ان کی طرف دو (پیغمبر) بھیجے تو انہوں نے ان کو جھٹلایا۔ پھر ہم نے تیسرے سے تقویت دی تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم تمہاری طرف پیغمبر ہو کر آئے ہیں15. وہ بولے کہ تم (اور کچھ) نہیں مگر ہماری طرح کے آدمی (ہو) اور خدا نے کوئی چیز نازل نہیں کی تم محض جھوٹ بولتے ہو

The part i am concerned abt is highlighted… I added the rest so you would know whom is ALLAH talkin about …
So people who calim Rasool s.a.w is just human being like us … “Rasool s.a.w to hamari tarah hain” rnt they contradicting Quran here ?

You know I love this surrah so much.
If allah take loved one back, and you can't find peace. This surrah explains the whole life cycle. And how every things goes back to allah swt, after finishing their life.
Its beautiful. It gave me peace, In toughest times.
Who could have explained : life,living livig through life and death: better then Allah swt him self.

I cannot find the contradiction . Yes Hazrat Muhaamad :saw: was a man.

@ aqeel ok ppl discredited prophet by using those words "you are a man"
They could have said "you are an arab" or "you are younger than us so we know more than you do" or "you are pooper than us"

they use an excuse to deny the truth.

Like I say you are Guppy hence lying.
But is that true??? I mean you could a fellow guppy but also be a nobal prize winner.
But If I was ignorant, I would say you just are a guppy so you are dumb like my self.

If you know it by heart - that makes you a janati . becaz then on the day of judgement it will protect your heart and body and save you from going to hell .
Learn it if you can :)

Nice explanation in earlier post ...

Though ~Iraj~ makes a request that encourages good i.e. to memorise the Surah, I agree that we should not count on those things to enter Jannah ...

... We can only but count on the Mercy of Allah (SWT) for Him to endow this great Reward for us. There is no ibadah long enough and there is no deed good enough to earn our positions in paradise.

Thank you iraj. I always have this desire to learn arabic. So I could understand things better and faster.
I have attempted once I can carry out a minimal discussion in arabic. But like my father I want to learn it. He could read quran and would know what it means.
I want to be like him. And I am going to marry A neek girl so she takes me along to jennah lol(my grand plan) hehehehe

Ok i guess even though translation is very clear people are still not getting my point thats y i posted two ayya's before that soo u can have better idea whos callin prohet like themselves ...

In the highlighted part of trasnlation some people are claiming that prophet is human like them, which is not appritiated in Quran
We rnt even talkin abt Prophet Mohammed s.a.w is some other Prophet a.s i dun even know ... But Quran is saying callin em human like us is wrong in clear words !

Right on…one can spend their whole life in a room just doing Ibadah and expecting they will enter Janah is not true. Its only Allah :swt: mercy that can help us enter Janah but this does not means we are not suppose to do any Ibadah.

Nice post Aqeel123, its unfortunate that these important matters of Aqeedah have become incomprehensible for a lot of us. If u note the departure of Shaytan from the most respected to the most disgraced as mentioned in the Quran, he also used similar words for Prophet Adam A.S. ( Bashar) his intention in using what is otherwise undeniable was to degrade the Prophet, and his such calling and his disobedience caused him greatly.

Something to consider.

Aqeel - Read Surah kahf (the Cave) – What does the Quran say?

قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاء رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا

Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your god is one Allah, therefore whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and not join any one in the service of his Lord.[Shakir 18:110]

Say: "I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your Allah is one Allah: whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and, in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner.[Yusufali 18:110]

Say: I am only a mortal like you. My Lord inspireth in me that your Allah is only One Allah. And whoever hopeth for the meeting with his Lord, let him do righteous work, and make none sharer of the worship due unto his Lord.[Pickthal 18:110]

There are three creations mentioned in Quran - Human - Angels - Jinn.

Which among these three does the blessed Prophet (saw) belong to?

is there a question of immoraltiy ... offcourse everyone has to die ... this doesnt mean he is like us ... he is only mortal like us ... as everyone has to taste death !
And another concern for not only me and u... but all of us is the translation, i mean our last genrations had done goood job but at alot of places some havn't sticked with word by word translation ( which is important ) ... i think basharum means human ....
If we loook at it this way ... this ayyat is to save toheed ... so we cant make the same mistake christians did ( call him God or son of God)... in no way it was meant o destroy risalat ! and of course as a source the ayya i have provided is a good example

Aqeel - Do you take the blessed Prophet (saw) to be Human, Angel or from the Jinn? Or do you have something else in mind?

He was sent as a messenger to Mankind and the Jinn.

He married Humans and his children and progeny is Human - or do you have something else in mind?

Oh yes ofcourse ... He is nooor, now it wud be easy for us humans to understand someonelike us .. so he was a bashar for our convinient !
I have heared in different stories that angels use appear in front of humans as humans ... like the angel of death !

Both Bashariyat and Nooraniyat are aspects of the Prophet's S.A.W worldly life. Having faith in both is obligatory. These verses were announced to be declared against the kufar. For surely there is no denying in the Bashariyat of the Prophet S.A.W but even in his Bashariyat surely he was more afzal than all Bashariyat put together . This is an example of the Prophet's modesty in calling himself a Bashar that too like the kufars of the time. This was done only to draw their understanding and sympathy towards Islam.

I'll give an example if a person is a Phd and he is found admitting that he has High School certificate does that nullify his Phd. It is only a matter of him bringing himself lower to level of the common people so that they understand. If a Phd wants to communicate to a bunch of 5th graders he has to do so in ways that are understandable to them.

By the way who said Quran mentions three kinds of creations Human, Jinn and Angels. Where does the solar system, the animals, the plants, underwater world go?
