Which of these two do you place more importance on in your selection for a life-partner? Looks or personality?
I would say personality, but he shouldn’t be butt-ugly either where no one would wanna take the time to even get to know his personality…

look, cause it changes less than personality during our life:p

and cause look reflects our mind!
if somthing is wrong in the eyes or smile of your partner, be sure it's cause you ain't on the same wave of understanding!!

^ lol of course, don't we all? But i'm saying lets say you were given a choice to get whatever you wanted, but you could only have either/or... which one would it be?

yup, even the bestlooking people can be so hideous because of what's on the inside... uglyness can be saved with plastic surgery (j/k) but a ugly heart and personality has no cure

personality, sorry to all the posters but to put it in simple terms,

after few months of having the looks all to yourself ;) you start noticing the personality. and if personality sucks then looks dont matter.

Both to start with and then Personality cause looks are not sustainable while Personality improves with age.

Yea right guys…the moment a hot looking chicks walks by…they r all googly eyes…:love: !!! then the personality bit is thrown out the window in a split second…
I remember a joke on tv…the guy was saying that a girl may be walking with a ugly guy…introducing him to the world and saying “I dont care if he’s not good looking…as long as he is GOOD TO ME!!!”..do guys mostly would do that too??? Not really!!!..No matter how plain looking they themselves are…with a big pot belly and stuff…they always want a super model looking girl in their arms…Their ego…so very inflated !!!:lb: …:smiley: …

People do not care for the personality first. It is looks first than personality.

Totally agree with u...:) ...Not just how Allah made us...but how well a person takes care of thmselves...the overall picture

Personality all the way, unless the looks are repulsive.

For me, the average plain jane who's a delight to be around would always win over the gorgeous girl who is a total "female dog".

I think people have an assumption that good looks equal spoiled and artificial.
