Pre-register the unit straight from Mr. Sony’s sweetshop for £529, and you’ll get a choice of black, white or purple hued devices. It’s also popped up for pre-order on Three UK’s website, setting you back £449.99 – with the added sweetener that the first 1,000 customers to sign up will get a free pair of MDR-1R cans to go with. In fact, Sony’s told us that all preorders will get the same bonus. Three UK’s site is promising the handset will arrive by February 28th, which is too late for a Valentine’s Day gift, unless your beau really wants Sony’s latest flagship.
Update: Vodafone has tweeted that the phone will launch (at least in the UK) on February 28th – a few days earlier than we’d heard before.
