passive matrix LCD’s(liquid crystal displays) sucks
as compared to Ative matrix

because earlier suffers submariening effect while loading heavy graphics
and no doubt both sony and nokia r two comapnies worth mentioning as the sole pinoneer of this technology , later on other integrated this in there products. man japan rocks
