I have a Sony Cyber-shot S650 7MP Digital Camera which comes with a rather measley 24mb Internal memory. I need to buy a memory stick pro duo for It; the part number for It Is MSXM1GS.
What I want to know must the memory stick pro duo be of this part number, as I have seen many online which state that they are compatible with many digital cameras; BUT they don’t state this particular part number?

That part number is just for that size/brand. A different size (same brand) would be a different part number even.

Yes, it should. As long as the speed is compatible with ur device. Also, the sony memory stick comes in different formats too, just like SD, e.g. micro, pro duo and the regular. Check the requirements for ur camera. See this site for details:
