I have Sony DVD player with recorder. it has a problem that it does not play some DVD’s. Is there any solution of it.

some dvds?

do you mean ones you burnt at home or other region dvds?

no, i purchased original PTV Dramas from the shop some it plays some not.

Regional encoding can be a reason too, but most of the DVD's i get from Pak won't work in USA. Never figure it out, poor materials ?

eject and re insert the dvd.. it should work, might take a few tries

i tried a lot. some DVD it don't read. some it read only the title.
