It has been playing on GEO in the Sonu Nigam concert. It goes something like:

Sehar its an old indian song yaar...Sonu must have just sung it for that event, as far as i know its not Sonu's song...

This song was sung by the Great Pakistani PlayBack singer Ahmad Rushdie from 60/70s movie. His other mega hit was Ko Ko Korina.
Sonu paid a tribute to Ahmed Rushdie by singing it in his concert. Rushdie was a Karachite, so he sang it to gain more love and respect from the crowd. Sonu, who used to be clone of great Mohammed Rafi and still his biggest fan on Earth, also loves Rushdie’s style of singing on foot tapping jazzy tunes.
Rushdie was gem, a class of his own. Sonu sure is successfull because of respect he has in his heart for the greats and his humbleness.
