This might sound very naive and stupid but songwriter is someone who composes songs, right? Or someone who writes the lyrics of songs?

Songwriters write lyrics but I also try to put the music together for them.
I'd like to share my songs and read the songs that others right. In English, though.
So any body interested? I also write poetry but songs more now.

I do not write but I do try my hand at composing songs sometimes. I have recorded a few things in the past. I posted one of my instrumentals in the voice gallery some 2 weeks ago. And actually I was thinking about asking one of my friends to write some lyrics for that (sort of going in the reverse direction). So, if you are interested, may be you can give it a listen and then put down some lyrics to it.

I listened to the sample, it was really good. I was supposed to get an electrical guitar this summer but it was too damn expensive and now I am looking to buy a drum kit because I like drums more. My lyrics are to heavy metal and glam and just some alternative (my own brand for music) music but I can write for everything. They are full of swears and hatred and drugs and all that tho
