hey guys
i was just wondering if anyone knows any songs that make fun of the guy’s side…my sis is getting married this summer and i wanted to make a play/dance thing to make fun of the guys side…any help would be really appreciated…thanx in advance

:fatee:wait and think for a sec. your sis’s in laws aren’t too sensitive right? You have to be careful that you don’t insult them by mistake or that they don’t take things too seriously…

in law issues can get sticky sometimes and we have to be careful

anyway, wasn’t there a song like that in that movie “hum apke hain koun” or there was another old movie with rekha that has a song similar to what you’re asking…sorry can’t remember it

there are tons of songs..u just have to know what their personality is like...kunjoos...angry dude....whipped...horny toad.....lol.whatever....

for my brother's wedding...we acutally made fun of ourselves....we based it on a song from the movie hum sath sath hain..it was freakin hilarious!!!!!

ppl should just be careful in terms of the extent of mazaaq they make… i went to one where the brides sisters were saying something like “yeh haiN :name:, lag to haiN yeh gori par assal meiN yeh haiN kaali” to the groom’s Bhabhis :hayaa:

it wouldn’t have been a big deal had the word “kaali” not carried the stigma it does in pakistan.

we did a reallly hot dholki to the song 'raat de baare vajje..something something meri neend khulla..something something..haule haule kehndian"..
and then someone yells "kaun ay kaun ay??"

then you name one member from the in-laws side and sing a song based on his/her personality.

example: my cousins nand is really pretty and lots of guys like her so we sang the song 'laila main lailaaa..aisi hoon lailaa"..etc lol

no guys my sis's in-laws aren't really sensitive we've known them for a really long time i know they wouldn't take it in the wrong way they know it's all in fun...........just looking to have a bit of fun at the mehndi

**There are no special lyrics to it...it's in Punjabi and the lines repeat for each family member:

It goes like

"Raat te baaraan wajaan...tee appey ve neendar khuley...te bahaar boohey dee dastaak howey...te mein holey holey kehndiaan aaann....Kon eeyy??"

Then you go to say some one's name like the nand's name and say...

"samira(nand) eey....Kii Kendii eey??"

and then you sing the song you want to dedicate like..

"ooh kehndii eeyyy...laila mainn laila...aasiii hoon laila..."

and it repeats the same way for each family member.. :D**

my cousins devar's name is Osama. so we called him osama Bin Ladin at one point of the song, it was sooo funny. hes like 10 years old!

Songs to tease the groom at the mehndi

Salam

I need help from anyone who can. I am trying to put together a medley of songs that i can play on the mehndi to tease my brother in-law!! I only need parts of a song so it doesn't have to be a mehndi song as long as the lyrics are taunting to the dulah!!

For example in the film Dostana from the song Maa da laadla i will only play the below verse

Maa da laadla vigad gaya
Maa da laadla vigad gaya
Maa da laadla vigad gaya
