What song would you suggest for a slideshow on the bride?
Solo songs are the best for that, not fast music.

Can you be more specific.
I don't know much about recent songs as yours choice simple music is also create elegant taste. In photo session part of my video the photographer use only background solo music.
here are some suggestions...
- daughters- john mayer
if you have a father present...the slideshow can be from his pov perhaps:
- i loved her first- by heartland
- my little girl - by tim mcgraw
- butterfly kisses - by bob carlisle
most are american country music pieces, but it gives a break to the desi music in the background and makes your slideshow more poignant.

people always get dad ties,shoes,T-shirts etc,you need make something new and special,i saw someone made a father's day slideshow for dad and it's wonderful,collect photos of memorable moments and create a photo album play on tv to express your love and appreciation. on fahter's day may be a big surprise to dad and it won't cost much,why not have a try.
