my sis is getting married in july in pk. i am planning to do dandiya on her wedding i am confused in the selection of song i am planning to make a melody like in that ovie muj say dosti karoge so plz help me

that song from hum dil de chuke sanam. I think it is called Dole Tharo Dhol Baje. We did it last year for a similar occasion and it was very nice!

we've done it on sapne sajan ke, from sapne sajan ke.. a VERy old song!
we've also done it on rdb's sadi gali... but that ws verrrry fast n sooo much fun!! if uve a whole buncha ppl esp guys who can jump n move arnd fast.. try that :)

we did O RAY KAANCHI (from the movie ashoka) on my sister's wedding and it came out to be awesome :)

I've done a bunch of dandiya dances and we always come in with a bunch of songs, and in the end for almost all of them, people have chosen:
-dhol baje
It is an old song, but a really well-coordinated dandiya dance looks AWESOME with it.

I've also done a dance to banthan chali, and that also looked cute.

I like the **o re kanchi **idea -- that's a perfect song for a dandiya dance as well.

We've also considered nach baliye -- which would be great but very fast.

i like o re kanchi and nach baliye but instead of doing on a whole song i am planning to make one by combining 4or 5 songs by taking one stanza frm each but still want sum thing new and different

i agree dhol baje can look very good if you start off with some dance segment and the make the rest dandia

I have done a few dandiya dances and the songs we chose for various cousin and friends mehndis were: Ghoonghat ki aadh se, Dhol baaje, Dholna(by Shubha Mudghal) and one more but I cant remember its name..

my cousins did a dance to the song 'Rehle Rehle' by Hunterz. I'll put up the video for whoever wants to see it. the song itself is realllyyy cute.
