It’s the atmosphere of revenge taking shape around Sonam Kapoor and that too with none other than former Miss World Aishwarya RaiBachchan.
It was earlier in news that Aish had stopped Sonam Kapoor from walking at the Red Carpet at Cannes as the face of international cosmetic giant L’Oreal. This happened after Sonam had remarked that Aishwarya represents the older generation while she herself represents the young face of the company.
Apparently Aishwarya was hurt badly by this comment and even demanded an apology from ‘the two movie old naughty Kapoor’.
But Sonam does not seem to be stopping herself and says, “Ash has worked with my dad so I have to call her Aunty na”.
Sonam has started calling Aishwarya RaiAunty Ji among her close friends. There has however been no reaction from the side of Aishwarya Raito this statement by far.
Looks like sonam kapoor is not ready to forgive aishwarya after the cannes controversy .
sonam does seem la little insecure and cocky. in one interviews she was saying stuff like im anil kapoors daughter, i was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, i did a real artistic role as suppose dot deepika who just did commercial role so my was more challening.
but on the other hand if that is true that iashwariya did stop sonam from walking th ered carpet for l<oreal. that is a little too much power they are giving her. that hsould not even be in her jurisdiction of authority and i can understand why sonam would be upset.
If Aishwarya Rai did indeed stop Sonam from walking the red carpet.......then that was arrogant of her. The Red Carpet is not the property of Aishwarya and she can't control who can or cannot walk over it. Aish tends to very prim and proper in public so it's hard to imagine her even making such a demand to Sonam. Aish tends to be careful about her rep....and even more so now that she has married into the Bachan family.
Sonam calling Aish "Aunti Jee" is rather juvenile. She needs to understand that she herself will one day turn the same age as Aishwarya.
Also, Sonam's logic about calling Aishwarya "Aunti" only because she acted with her father........is flawed. Many Bollywood actos in their 40's are acting with young heroines that are young enough to be their daugthers! For exmample.......deepika acted opposite Shahrukh who is in his 40s. So tomorrow if Anil Kapoor is seen acting with a heroine in her twenties, would Sonam call her "aunti" as well? What if tomorrow a director casts Sonam opposite an actor (Akshay, SRK, Salman, Aamir).......who are all in their 40's........should Sonam be called "Aunti"?
I'm not a fan of either Aish or Sonam. They're both making their insecruties and arrogance evident if the story is true.
no idea what is the true story...i heard that sonam made some comments about aish and she was upset about it so she wanted an apology but sonam refused...if u really look at their ages then aish is her aunti since sonam is 23 (if dats her real age)...its bad of sonam if she is calling her anty in a bad way but she said it in a respectful way...sonam is a cute girl but she is going down with her attitude, dats not good for her...i saw this interview of her she seemed very very proud....
considering how some girls on this forum consider other girls as aunties only cuz they're married irrespective of their ages... at least Sonam Kapoor seems to have a partially good reason :)
