Re: Son/Daughter

even i agree daughters are the best but then you have to see them off on their wedding days :cries:

Re: Son/Daughter

I would disagree with you.

Re: Son/Daughter

^is that personal opinion

Re: Son/Daughter

My opinion is based on what I believe. And what I believe came from what I'va seen.

Re: Son/Daughter

sons support their parents after marriage daughters dont, only demand money from their husbands and parents :barbie:

Re: Son/Daughter

well they do so because of their right. husbands are supposed to take care of the wife's needs and everything

Re: Son/Daughter

and who takes care of our needs :bummer:

Re: Son/Daughter

the wife its simple as that two way relationship to get something you must give something. its only fair. compromise

Re: Son/Daughter

Bingo!

Adding further: The rights do not mean that buying a Mercedes/BMW or expensive dresses every other day are necessary and come under "wife's rights". When Allah says provide them with food & shelter, He does not mean that you spend thousands of dollars every month on expensive things which are not really necessary. Same thing goes for men as well. They cannot spend on things that aren't necessary.

Re: Son/Daughter

I would disagree. Even if the person (i.e. spouse) does not fulfill his/her duties towards you, that does not mean that you stop giving (i.e. fulfilling ur duties).

In other words, you have to give to the best of ur ability even if you don't get (unless Shariah says so on certain matters).
