this might be in the wrong section but please dont lock this thread until somone shows me how to share music. i found instructions to post videos but to date i have not come across instructions to post music.
like if i want to post a song which is in real audio or media player format, how do i do that? i’ve aslo seen some members using the GS media player. how do we do that? Thanx in advance everyone.

GS does not upload/host audio or video on its servers. you may use the file sharing sites to upload audio and post a link in the thread.

" gs media player " shows up for things shared between media] and /media] tags.. (by default, any MEDIA file like .wav .mp3 .avi .wmv .wma and other popular formats, if online, can be played like that here)
other way is to make an “imeem” account.. sharing via that is simpler, however process to get to the point of registering, uploading, then finding where the actual sharable link is, is kinda hard, but i think that facility is embedded within gupshup as [radio] and closing of ****/radio] (value in middle of those two can be pulled after the /m/ http location once your media is up and shared on imeem)
videos are done via google video ([gv] and ****/gv] value after **docid= **go there
and via youtube ([yt] and ****/yt]) value after v= goes in between those tags
if still in doubt, go to the person’s reply where the media YOU LIKE TO SHARE is shared, press “QUOTE” and see how he/she did it..
