The Luckiest S.O.B on earth, Jack Nicholson is back. Number 1 L.A. Lakers Fan has another hit on his hands.
Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton have great chemistry. Their years of experience has surfaced in this film and again they are the best. It is funny watching old people fall in love but it’s sweet. If you are intererested in seeing how older adults deal with emotions ranging from lust to mature love, then go see this movie. You will laugh out loud! Jack is good and actually shows a range of emotion as does Diane Keaton, from glib to serious for Jack and from strong-willed and independent to falling into the vulnerability of love for Diane. It’s not a perfect film, by any means and the best cinematography is of the ocean and the Hampton home, so don’t expect breathtaking filming. But do expect to become involved with these characters as both demonstrate very human and relative emotions. Do expect to continue to wonder throughout the film as to what the outcome will be.
Direction and supporting cast(Keanu Reeves and Amanda Peet) were excellent. Nancy Meyers has touched the subject of Older Men Dating Young Women and vice-versa wisely. Nice Timin’ there, woman!
Should you see it? Definitely! Rating 8.0/10
