trust me i ave ad a few of these um father-type experiences too. tey all made my gorge rise in retrospect with their plain speaking. all in all the tumb rule that u just aint supposed to be listeneing to im in the first place,forget abt misresses and all is supposed to MEAN someting u know.

What he was doing was trying build up a platonic relationship of complete trust between him and yourself through getting you to call him. He'd never come across as cheap, and inititally never show any kind of inapprpriate interest in you, but several weeks or months after you called him, and your relationship of trust (even a fatherly/daughterly type of relationship) had strengthened , he would begin his moves. A process which in itself would take weeks or months.
