There’ve been some questions raised about the usefulness of this Section and judging from the recent posts that have been popping up, I think they’re being asked rightly so. I don’t wanna get into that whole lecture about how this forum needs to function because it we’re all mature enough to know the intent of this section.
All I want to say here is that having fun with innuendos and posts in this section is not all that bad as long as its also balanced out with some meaningful topics. But if all the discussion we’re gonna have will be in a humorous tone without any meaningful discussion, this fourm won’t be any different from Cafe except with a bit more lattitude on the range of topics.
So I ask all of you to consider this when starting a new topic. If you need to start a topic which borders on humor, then I suggest you consider Cafe section for it. Because I am sure if this keeps up, this section will be removed from the forums and I hate to see that happen.
One certainly can't raise a good question in public forums like Cafe and Religion forum etc...one needs a quite corner to raise the question and pop up the problem.
If you need me to show you how to start a "serious and mature" discussion, then you prolly don't need to be in this section to begin with. Just as the description said, "No under 18's please," it literally means 18 by mind and body, BOTH! Your time may be best spent in the Cafe or General section. You may even try the Joke forum.
As for censoring, well deary, this section was created to make sure that censoring doesn't happen with topics which overlap into areas that we rather not discuss in front of members and people we don't feel comfortable with. True that there has been active EDITING, not censoring, happening lately but its only to reinforce the intent of this section. As said before, if the "unserious and immature" posts from members continue, the Admins in general may decide to pull the plug and I really wouldn't have a reason to convince them otherwise.
All well and good. But how about you SHOW us what you want with this forum? i.e. start a serious topic, make it clear that you expect serious replies and then people will (hopefully) get your point.
I think there's a dearth of topics. Oral is one, then we have sex positions, masturbation, contraception. I can't think of any more. Maybe that's this forum's problem?
When there's a topic in my mind that I feel I need to discuss in the Corner room, you can bet that I will be posting it here. But since I don't I have any, I don't hog up this section with topics which are better suited for other sections. You're asking me to start topics to set an example and I am saying that when I have such topics which I feel rightly belongs in this section, I will post otherwise, I will refrain.
Refraining from posting unnecessary topics in itself is setting up an example. To me atleast!

I think the problem is with people having more fun with innuendos and wisecracks with these topics than with the topics themselves. I mean, I don't have a problem with any of these topics but I do have a problem when these topics loose their seriousness and everybody starts throwing one-liners and puns.
If you wanna go ahead and restart any of these topics, go right ahead. As long as they don't become a party scene with everyone getting their one-liners in, it will remain open. Promise! If you want me to bring any of the topics back and give them another shot, then I am willing to do this also. Just tell me which ones and I will have them back here in no time. Promise!

u soundz like a reasonable mod…no problemo in discussing such topics and def one-linerz should not be allowed to ruin the seriousness of topics here…however do keep an eye on certain guppiez as they never have anything better to add except their gajer-mooli stuff…i’m sure u’ll know wht i’m talking abt
these ppl have ruined countless threadz just by posting senseless crap…
