Anyone know of good way of getting rid of fishy type smells from dishes etc? Have tried vinegar, lemon and salt but still leave a blah smell to dishes, even after washing a few times.

Are they plastic dishes? The smell should not stay behind on glass. porcelain or stainless steel dishes. Use non-plastic.
Otherwise soak the dishes in a weak bleach / soap solution then rinse thoroughly so you don't end up with bleachy smelling dishes.

Soak the dishes in baking soda, salt and lemon juice.

^ Yes, that's a good idea. Baking soda is known to absorb odors.

Thanks for the tips. The dishes arent plastic - they're porcelain or similar. Will try baking soda - fingers crossed it works!
