Something I wrote a long time back

I wrote this verse when I was in high school (yes, a long time back!). I was in the Creative Writing/Poetry Club, and this was picked to be printed on our club tshirts…

I think today, I’ll die
And fly away…
To say..
I came and went…
And bent the world around me…

Of course, this is not up to your calibre, Khatti…but here is a shair that I composed a few days ago while I was idle. It is said that an idle mind is shaitan’s ghar, but I would beg to differ.

Our Days are Numbered!

**I need not look at the competing skyscrapers
I need not pay mind to the rampant immodesty and corruption
Plaguing every corner of the world

I need not fear the catastrophic natural disasters
Nor the breakdown of families and moral values

I need only to read Nadz123’s threads
To know, my friends

That Qiyamat is not far**

I hope that I will return soon with a poem…perhaps a limerick…about another mahaan hasti of Life 1.
