Which groups do you know of that would want to ban Chicken, goat etc. Perhaps the Jains, but if they started asking for a such bans it would be denied because its just not practicle and it would leave out Millions who actually do eat these. Banning Cow slaughter and pork would be much easier because it would cover a huge percentage of the population..
Image banning can be compared to beef. For many Muslims, the image is deeply disrespectful, as is the slaugter of beef for Hindus.
And I didnt say you should ban these things, but rather set up a licence system so that minorites can continue to sell Pork, Beef, and liquor etc..
dumb ideas. separate religion from state. reform religions, instead of locking up the state with primitive rules. loosen up, painting isnt a sin. and nothing wrong with a juicy burger either.
Thats great in an ideal world, but completely impracticle in the real world. Fact is, people are religous and trying to force them not to be is about as succesful as trying to fart your way to the moon... You have bring people together even in a secualr govt, not drive them apart.

Zia made laws for Muslims whule exclduing all others. He made laws that were devicive.
Im saying make laws that can apply to all relgous groups. By catoring to the senstivities of all religous groups you prevent singling any one group out. Gandhi also mixed religion with politics, but his was in a way that all religouns could climb on board, he didnt leave anyone out. Thats what im talking about..
