Threat? How arrogant. It's simply a statement of destination. There is a difference between a warning and a threat...some people just don't understand the concept of mercy I suppose.
Personally, I think this statement is akin to simply pointing out that the earth spins around the sun...it's just how things are. But I guess some people just want it all without any effort...we call that being a 'suck' where I come from...

People accused the verse of being a threat. I disagree. A threat hinges on a condition. There's no condition presented above.

u dont but many others do. Its just to point out that there are those in each faith who say that their path is the only path and no one who follows it will have a chance to have a good afterlife, and there are those who do not ascribe to that thinking.

I agree. Muslims are not unique with their notion that theirs is th only path to an afterlife with rewards. Fundamentalists of most faiths have that myopic belief.
