Something for my mum

Hi All,

I’m hoping you can all help me. I’ve been searching everywhere for songs /ghazals/Shairi dedicated or on the subject of the relationships we have with our mums i.e Mavvaan Thandiyan Chavaan (I have no idea who this was by, or if this is the correct title!:confused: ). My mum recently heard something by someone called Raja Abid Zameer- something to do with Bangaa chura le… (I hope I got that right!) I can’t find anything done by him. Another one is Maa De Shaan??? Pakistani Ghazal/shairi?

Does anyone have some gazals/shairi by Arif/Alam Lohar?

I’m trying to compile a CD for my mum, she’s really into ghazals/shairi etc.., any help in any downloads or pointing me in the right direction (of artists and titles I should be looking out for would be greatly appreciated.)

I’m sure you’ll come to my aid and help me compile this.

Does anyone have a song which starts off with 'Merey maa de hata diyan pakiyan rotiyan..' Sorry, no idea who its by.

Also I think this one is a ghazal: 'Maa-e-ni-main kinoo akhaan..' possibly by someone called Shah Hussein?

This great song by harbajan maan. this guy has some reall good songs
he talks bout kids whose mom's have died.very touching
