Some of you might not like Zaid Hamid. Some (including me) have problems with a non-economist speaking about world economy conspiracy theories.

But, this message is above that. Regardless of who is saying this, we all need to ‘believe’.

Good and bad on this video.

Firs the good.

  1. Beautiful and touching rendition of the national anthem.
  2. Very nice pics of Pak airforce (Made in USA F-16), our army fighting Islamists in Swat (and Hindus on Siachin) and our beautiful monuments.
  3. Message of hope.

Now the bads

  1. Muslim first Pakistani second. This is the most corrosive and destructive message.
  2. Mr. Hamid doesn't even know a simple fact that if Islamism is our ideology then being Muslim is our Identity (and not being Pakistani)
  3. The video ignores that Pak military officers and jawans are being murdered by Islamists (in the name of Islam), and Hindus (in the name of Indian nation).

Let me elaborate on Bad #1 a bit more.

Pakistan's identity and ideology must be ONE aka Pakistaniat. That means you live and die serving your country and nothing else. Dividing ideology and identity has created confusion and Islamists have taken full advantage of it.

However Pakistani intellectuals like Hamid, botch the message of Pakistani identity by introducing Islamism that happens to be inherently anti-nation and thus anti-Pakistan.

The examples are in front of us as clear as the sun on a nice sunny day. Islamists all over the country have consistently damaged the state of Pakistan in the most obvious ways. Destroying our roads, bridges, and girl schools is the most heinous and most primitive tribalistic approach to utterly wipe out a country and this is being done in the name of Islam.

Thus Islamism CANNOT be our ideology otherwise we will destroy our beautiful country WITH OUR OWN farking HANDS.

just watched one of the related videos on this link from pakistanirules, its amazing how far people try to go to deceive, he is posing as Pakistani and inciting hatred between Pakistanis and against friends of Pakistan liek Iran and china
