Well its my personal opinion and no one has to agree with it because I might not agree with it tommorow myself 
GS smilies are different from smilies on msn or yahoo or most other places. They are brighter in color and if you notice all the smilies go with eachother, interms of color and style. However, these two new emoticons do not go with the rest and when used in different posts do not look good.
My advise is that while adding new emoticons it would be better if you keep in mind the style and colors of GS emoticons while adding new ones
