There are even average to attractive looking girls that are finding it hard to find rishtas.

Confidence is important because it will reflect in your attitude and body language and it’s always sexy. There are people who are physically attractive and have poor self-esteem…and others are turned off by that. So, while looks are important (won’t deny that)…they’re not the only consideration. I’ve seen heavier girls get married. Your friend will get married when it’s meant to be. In the mean time, as PCG suggested, she needs to develop her self-esteem. If she feels good…it’ll show/radiate physically.

The above qualities that you’ve listed are not those that can’t be solved. For example, …many people prefer to wear glasses…and they can look attractive on some individuals. If she’s that bothered about the glasses…then she can try contact lens. If she’s afraid of wearing them…practice can make her feel more comfortable.

Acne…SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many men and women struggle with acne…even those that are neither overweight nor wear glasses. Get an appointment with a dermatologist as opposed to trying every single desi home remedy that won’t work fast enough. A dermatologist can tell your friend all the available treatments and how effective they are (topical creams, antibiotics, chemical peels, laser therapy, etc.)

About the weight issue. What is causing the weight gain? Is it stress? Lack of activity? Perhaps a doctor can suggest tips. REGULAR exercise and eating healthy…and getting enough sleep…can help. Even lack of sleep can make one gain weight.

Wearing clothes/colors that flatter the figure. Wearing makeup that plays up positive features. Flattering hair cut.

^Implementing these changes can help…BUT…what will make truly help is for her to value/believe in herself (if she doesn’t already). And any changes she makes should be done for herself.
