Diabetes is a disease which can be controlled by the person affected. It is life long, but if managed properly can lead to a very normal life style. I have diabetes type2 and have been diabetic for 15 years. No one in my family has diabetes. My diabetes is well controlled and I control it with diet and medication. it is up to you how you treat this illness, it can be fatal if you don’t take proper care of your diet and lifestyle.
