Do you ever feel that someone in particular is always dressing better then you? They are always looking stylish and trendy while even if you try or dont even try you still aren’t as good as their style of dressing?
Or are you the one people are always complementing and saying you dress so well, where do you get your clothes, jewelry, etc… from???
Are any of you style or dress conscience?? You have to look the best or atleast different and stand out?? Do some of you even care? Also what about looking younger then your age or just looking young?
yea....there are many poeple i know who dress way better then i do but i don't really care:D . I belive a lot of it has to do with cordinating with an indivivdual's personality rather then the price. Some people can wear just about anything and still look gorgeous where as some.....not so much. One important thing poeple need to undertand that not every CHHIC style is for them:)
I always look at girls and guys, and think “well they dress really nicely” or if someone is wearing a particiular item, i think, will it suit me or not? Every1 has their own particular style.. like I know alot of girls who wear hijab and I LOVE how they dress, but i cud never feel comfortalbe or pull off that sort of stuff. I’m kinda shy so I won’t always compliment someone but I dont think i’d ask where htey got it from because u can find the same stuff in every single place. Certain stuff, i’d love to wear but i just can’t (at elast not in public). But there are some very important factors to clothing: fit and confidence. If it fits you well, and if you have the confidence to carry something off, it shudnt matter how much it cost or where u got it from.
Bottom line, i am very style/dress conscious, I don’t try to look THE best, because I know there will be tons of girls who are 100X hotter than me, but there are days wheN I like to look my best. As for looking younger, no i’m not at that point yet
people always compliment me and ask me where i got stuff from but I dont think i am dressed good, one I dont feel like i am tall enough to carry anything off; two, i always wear stuff 2 sizes bigger :o
I feel comfortable what i wear.I am not that stylish but i don't care if other ladies are wearing better dresses than mine.About age yes i do want to look younger or about my exact age but not older.
For me my motto is "Fashion says,"Me too! Me too!, and Style says,"Only ME!!"...so that sums it up for me. I dont believe in fads and fashion...that most people do, I keep in mind what suits my figure rather then whats in Fashion. I believe in timeless Classics....Tailored fits in western wear but in desi styles too....not that once in a while I dont want to try the In Fashion stuff....I just incorporate it with my style....
I do get compliments on my dressing, But then again I am not one of those people who take forever to decide what to wear..I pick out ...what I can see in front in my closet..(just a funny fact)...I do compliment others who dress good...but I dont compare them with me...I just dont...in other ways too...not my style...everybody is different...I know I go overboard at times as one time one of my friend was saying ...come with me and teach my husband to compliment like that...:)...I believe that people should be appreciated!!
I have been told that I look about 7-8 years younger then my age...so that works for me :)...can't complain....
So everybody out there...We should all be comfortable in our own skin...that is what is important....
Well for me, I have certain criteria to how I dress. It has to look simple and elegant w/ me hijabs ofcourse. It ends up looking v. professional...as if I am ready to go for a job interview. comfort for me in being covered, or else I feel concious. Other than that, I could care less who is dressed up more or less than me.
