Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

Jis ko chahtay hain ,marwa detay hain ya America kay hawalay kar detay hain .

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

You are right. Musharraf is brave but also have thinking mind. There is thin line between bravery and stupidity, and with thinking mind, Musharraf has all trait of bravery but no trait of stupidity.

For instance, he was brave at Kargil challenging Indian forces but not stupid to take risk of challenging American forces, where if he had challenged the Americans, Pakistanis would have suffered all sort of casualties and Americans would have been watching those Pakistani casualties on their TV set sitting in their homes drinking tea/coffee with amusement. Thus, facing the tricky situation:
:
Musharraf told Taliban and their supporters: If Allah is with you than you do not need our help, but if Allah is not with you than to die helping you would be suicide and sin. So deal with what you asked for and leave us to benefit from the situation.

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

I was being sarcastic, I don't support this guy but I do agree that Pakistan ka itna bera gharaq nahin tha Musharraf k daur mein jitna Zardari & Co. ki governance mein hua hai.

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

^^^ I know, you support Imran. But then, when you are playing the music, I thought it is nice opportunity to sing. :)

Anyhow, do you know that Pakistan had highest average economical growth rate in current dollars during Musharraf period, much better than even Ayub Khan time, and per capita income of Pakistanis in current dollars grew substantially during Musharraf period, more than any period in Pakistan history? :)

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

PPP signed NRO while PML-N has been shoved a similar agreement which they obtained via Saudis for rescuing Nawaz Sharif when ameer-ul-momineen's lungi was being blown by wind so both of them are not going to do anything. These are the only two big parties who can file a case and show street muscles, if they do then bandwagoners like Imran Khan and Altaf Hussein may join as well.... but Altaf Hussein already sold out.

Treason case: SC rejects plea to arrest Musharraf | Pakistan | DAWN.COM

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned hearing over the treason case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf until April 15, DawnNews reported.

A two-judge bench of the apex court, comprising Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain heard the case against the retired general seeking his trial under Article 6 of the Constitution for imposing the state of emergency in 2007.

The court rejected the request seeking the arrest of the former military ruler.

Musharraf did not personally appear in court and was represented by Advocate Ahmed Raza Kasuri.

Kasuri sought from the court six weeks’ time from Musharraf to submit his response and said that Musharraf would reply to every point raised against him adding that certain hidden names would be revealed in the response.

The bench replied that it did not mind the pandora box to be opened and granted six days’ time to submit his response, adjourning the hearing until April 15.

No one representing the federal government was present during the hearing.

Talking to media personnel prior to the hearing, Attorney General of Pakistan (AG) Irfan Qadir said that he would perform his duties according to the constitution during the case.

Musharraf’s Facebook account quoted him as saying that: “I have directed my panel of eminent lawyers to forcefully represent me in the Supreme Court of Pakistan tomorrow. These cases do not frighten me and I will fight all the cases in the court of law!”

Earlier on Monday, the bench had directed Musharraf to appear before it today (on Tuesday) to face charges of high treason and also barred him from leaving the country.

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

Nawaz sharif has been calling for proceeding should against Musharraf according to article 6. he should have the case registered against the dictator now.

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

Lets see if he does that after stepping in to govt. I think they will, but with no result. this will not be an easy case to decide, lots of high profiles will be at stake.

these lawyers are magicians, they know the loop holes of law and constituencies, they can turn day into night with their twisted logic. and when lawyers of both sides with sit together they will surly find a face saving plan for both N$ and MU$H

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

He will run away before oath taking of NS like Raymond Davis .
We are discussing it in

Musharraf returns

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

Nawaz sharif can do nothing to Musharraf, just wait and watch. The dictator will fly soon.

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

Musharraf to leave before swearing in of the next government tacit understanding between nawaz and kiyani.

Behind closed doors: Nawaz, Kayani agree on

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

letting him fly with no action will be better, at least that way our politicians will be exposed, N$ will have to answer this to public. but if they take the other course of action which i mentioned, file the case but then twist the laws and find strange logics to let him free later, this can be done by PMLN itself because of the deal that everyone is talking about.

Re: Someone should dare to proceed against Musharraf: CJ

^ There were some reports of an nro type deal between nawaz, Musharraf and kiyani in Saudia a few weeks back. As a result go ahead for nawaz was given, I believe that's the reason why he (nawaz) is quiet these days.
