I think you have mixed up the terms.

When glycogen ‘burns’, the process is called hydrolysis not condensation (opposite of hydrolysis with formation of glycogen and water molecule).

Also when large glucose containing molecules such as glycogen are broken, a water molecule is consumed, not produced.

I think my brain has been fried up in all the summer hear haha!
