I used PS and Illustrator 10 in this particular example in the pre-design/story boarding phases of my own website. It just helps somtimes to put thoughts in your mind to actual visual effects by using PS and other graphics software. In this case i liked the template and am working on the same design. It will be ready in another few weeks for deployment on the web, inshallah.
In this particular example, I used PS to generate the graphical interface, then imported into Flash MX to develop the Events Calendar. All, the graphics were then converted into SWF format. This is software is particularly developed for PDAs and hand held devices since it’s all vector based.
Are these working examples? Do you have the swfs on the web somewhere? Would love to see.
I read your post in the Tech forum, hmm but I feel that Flash is TOO COMMON. Every 14 yr old downloads it and starts to whip out animations in it. Its too easy. Programming for the web really isn't getting much fo a market these days.

Ammar ma’h dear…it just really come to what you enjoy doing. I am mostly involved in the ‘development’ area of Flash these days. specifically developing applications for PDAs, as oppose to animations and stuff. Where Flash MX really accels and not too many people have realized the full potential . All my stuff is hosted from my own server at the moment, and I happen to be behind a college firewall. The template for this one is also done in Illustrator 10 and PS, and then imported into Flash MX for programming and back end integration, done specfically for PDAs.

im sorry to say that, this form is non professioanly designed.. indeed very pathetic from designing point of view..
there is not colaboration in the swquence of the fields.. moreover the size of the text boxes are not appropriate..
besides the fancy sort of text boxes may seem better, but you will never see such fancy boxes in any professional heavily used website..
moreover according to my knowledge, wap and handheld devices will not be able to show these forms in correct form..
Forms need to be grouped according to the information relevence.. ur form seems to be quite mixed up..
anyways nice effort…

However, it’s a standalone application done with the new IE Components of Flash MX and it’s unlike conventional web forms.
It uses the rich colorful and media layout of Flash MX and the vector graphics functionalities where the resolution remains the same even when the size of screen is minimized. It runs independently of browsers since any device with a Flash MX player can connect to a remote server now, so get used to the rules being bent, twisted and simply thrown out of the windows.
