speaking of cartoons, today i saw a hindi dubbed cartoon on Geo Entertainment around 7 that was inappropriate for children. two foxes romancing in the jungle and planning a family! eww tasteless (being in hindi made it more awkward)!

Agreed, a lot of times I notice there are Hindi dubbed cartoons, one about some monkey super hero. I don't let my kid watch these at all. I'd rather put something on youtube or advd of my choice. Avoid the charting channels in Pakistan all together.

There should be a difference between hindi and urdu cartoon. Sorry don;t want to hurt anyones feeling but the reason i would want my kid to watch urdu is i would like her to understand the good in this culture dont want her giving namastay to elders or playing natak natak with friends or being more interested in tika and saying other hindi words like Kewal etc (can't think of any other right now) . Urdu .... I can teach her at home too as i speak that language.
I have see kids who actually are using these words in their normal conversation. They won;t understand why is different unless we tell them it is different and not allowed.
