DAWN.COM | Front Page | Using checkpoints to beat urban terrorism
Taken from Dawn.
The writer has bragged about Colombo security measures but let me tell you from my experience.I have been to colombo for as many as 44 times, many as part of my Business visits ,a few Transit ,and personal.(a week back I had my latest). In none of my visits I had been questioned by any security officer.I used to get a clear signal, the moment they saw my Indian passport.
Again I wear my religious chord with a small metal rod attached to it and every time I pass through the metal detector,it induces the machine to make the sound but I point my fingers to the rod and I am allowed to pass through.
It seems the writer is in delusions.
