So since I am getting married in the new year, I have been doing a lot of research on wedding vendors etc in the GTA. I always say this, but this website has been extremely helpful. So thank you!
So I began my research by googling photographers within the GTA who covered desi weddings. I came across many decor pictures (and a lot of photographers were helpful enough to include credits in their posts) - and I right off the bat I knew who’s designs I did vs did not like.
I also used word of mouth - other people’s reviews on their vendors etc etc. I met with approximately 5 decorators - and my fiance and I both settled on Naphisha from The Perfect Setting. Now I know that I have read some negative comments about her in this forum - so I thought I would write a few pointers that I did not know of before meeting her.

Naphisha has hired a secretary - yes I did not know that she did not have one before - but now she does. SHe takes care of all of Naphisha’s bookings and so far I havent had a single cancelled appointment with her (mind you we had 5 appointments before we decided to go for her).

She is very reasonable. She worked around our budget and was approximately the same price as Shaheen from Exquisite Events and Amna from Lemon Truffle. Yes - the prices these two quoted me were exactly the same as Naphishas. We also met with Piyush from Karma who quoted me double of what she offered.

We have a 30-35 foot grand stage for all three days, including fresh flowers on one day (even after that she was the same price as the above)

She showed up to all appointments and provided multiple sketches for each event for us to choose from.
