Hey girls! I needed help in selecting some songs for a slideshow to play at my wedding of all my family pictures up until now. I want sad, memorable songs that will have everyone in tears (I know, I’m so evil!)! Something along the lines of “Main jahan rahoon” by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Please help :(!!!

I was about to open up a thread on slideshow songs hahah... I found one son, Im going to use it when pictures of my brothers and I come up its Pholon taron ka sub ka kehna hai ek hazaron mein mere behna hai... I was also going to use papa ki pari... any other suggestions would be great!

Thanks for the suggestions guys...but I also need songs that are for pictures with my cousins and friends, not just parents and siblings. Something with a nostalgic/sentimental feel to it.

How about 'jab hum jawan honge, jaaney kahan honge' brilliant song for slide shows and can work for pics with cousins and friends.

Other sad songs in general I can think of are: Tu Hi Re from Bombay, Upar Khuda Aasman Neeche from Kachche Dhaage, Kaisi Hai Yeh Udaasi from Karthik Calling Karthik, Ye Dooriyan from Love Aaj Kal, Khaali Hai Tere Bina from Paheli, Pyar Ye Jaane Kaisa Hai from Rangeela, maybe Hum Deewane from Indian Babu could work
Not a sentimental ones but Jhula Bahon Ka from Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and Taaron Ka Chamakta from Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam for brothers and for dad's maybe Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya from Umrao Jaan?

Yeh I'm trying to do a medley. A song for each section or parents, siblings, friends,cousins etc. Thanks for the songs I'll check them out.

here is the song that I suggested from the film Betaab- classic song full of nostalgia! one of my all time favourites:
another one of my all time faves that would go great with photos of you and hubby on slide shows is: Mere pyar ki umar ho itni from Waaris:
They are both classic songs from the 80s! Hope you like them, they make for easy listening esp with slideshows!

Maybe you could use that Malkit Singh song "Mama Bada Great" for your family, actually that's a really happy, dancey song, oh well.

The slideshow is mainly for cousins and friends. I have a separate one for family, but there are lots of songs to choose from for that so I'm not too worried, this one I'm having more problems with.
